Summer Milkyway over Zion Canyon

The Summer Mlikyway is extremely apparent overlooking Zion Canyon in Utah. Being one of the darkest places in the entire United States, the Milkyway here is actually bright enough, relative to the background light, to cast shadows on the ground. The bright starlike object at the lower right is the planet Jupiter which is in the constellation of Scorpius.
