Star Trails at the Beach

This star trail image is a composite of 25 individual 4 minute frames which were stacked in Photoshop CS2 using the Lighten blend method. These were taken in front of our townhouse on the beach in Ocean City, MD while on vacation. The construction equipment in the foreground was being used for a beach restoration project that was currently in progress. The fuzzy wide star trail to the lower left of the image is the Pleiades star cluster, M45.
